1/2 impact ball joint. a complementary product that allows impact sockets and extensions to work in hard-to-reach places and with deeply embedded screws. The joint allows for operation at an angle of 0 to 25 degrees and is made of the same materials as the sockets. The pin and ball of the joint are secured with a tight-fitting sleeve closing the socket. Additionally the joint has a ball lock to secure the socket. Crmo scm-440 steel is a unique alloy steel that has twice the tensile strength of standard carbon steel and three times the yield strength. These features ensure that yato sockets retain their nominal dimensions for an extended period and do not crack under impact load.
