Thanks to the a.w.s extreme material the jacket provides a very good form of protection against the penetration of external moisture and seepage thanks to a water column of 10000 mm with a vapor permeability of 5000 g/m2/24 h which can be further increased thanks to the zippered ventilation holes. The jacket has taped seams. It also includes a snow belt. The sleeves are equipped with external velcro cuffs and internal elastic for a thumb loop.
