The lowering mechanism is operated with the same hook simply by rotating it 90° which will cause the frame to rise automatically thanks to the gas spring. Manufactured for Softee Equipment Deluxe basketball hoops and the New 114 or 140x140 models (these require an additional fitting that is not included). They are installed directly on the overhang of the hoop eliminating the weight of the backboard support normally used on standard hoops.
