First proven on ritchey's trail stem the c220 handlebar clamp design creates a more secure interface by wrapping the handlebar a full 220°. Bolt forces are balanced with the clamp so that the stem body hugs the handlebar which is less prone to damage from lightweight handlebars. The stem body is made from 2014 forged aluminum to further reduce weight.
