The finis floatie friends™ are swimming aids designed to help children build confidence in the water. These hand floats make it easier for children to relax control their breathing and float independently. They offer young swimmers a fun way to learn basic skills and build self-confidence. Each pair consists of two floats one for each hand. This helps swimmers find the right buoyancy and body position. Children learn to keep their face in the water and kick to move forward. Various models are available that offer more or less buoyancy. Floatie friends™ are made of durable foam and are available in different thicknesses to support swimmers at different stages of their learning process. Different models there are various floatie friends™ that help children at the different learning stages of learning to swim and support them. Level 1 offers the most support and buoyancy. Whale – level 1 thickness 38 mm; suitable for beginner swimmers who can submerge independently. Pufferfish – level 2 thickness 28 mm; suitable for advanced beginners who can dive and propel themselves independently. Starfish – level 3 thickness 20 mm; suitable for swimmers who can move face down in the water and lift their head to breathe to practice rhythmic breathing techniques. Turtle – level 4 thickness 15 mm; suitable for intermediate swimmers who still need some help with floating and balance. Shark – level 5 thickness 13 mm; suitable for swimmers who can breathe independently but need some extra buoyancy for added security. Use the floatie friends™ for water acclimatization during baby and toddler swimming or during swimming lessons for the a b and c diplomas.
