The restube lifeguard is intended for professional lifeguards and is a handy compact and lightweight rescue device that lifeguards can always carry with them in a waist pouch. The restube lifeguard is best described as an automatically inflatable rescue tube. The restube lifeguard is robust and developed for use in harsh conditions to rescue people in distress. Thanks to the restube's light weight small size and the ability to carry the waist pouch horizontally or vertically the restube does not interfere with the performance of your work as a lifeguard. You can easily carry the restube lifeguard with you during your shift so you always have a rescue device at hand and can take immediate action if someone gets into trouble. The restube lifeguard works exactly the same as a rescue tube except that the restube lifeguard is inflatable and stored in a robust waist pouch. The restube lifeguard features a special closure with a plastic pin; pulling the pin out activates the inflation system and opens the pouch. The restube lifeguard is equipped with a co2 cylinder that inflates the buoy in a few seconds. A rescue with the restube proceeds in exactly the same way as a rescue with a standard rescue tube. The restube also offers the option to attach the tube to the chest of a drowning victim (or someone who is unconscious) and to fasten the two ends of the tube together at the back. When entering the water to rescue someone the restube lifeguard waist pouch does not hinder you while swimming and offers you as a lifeguard freedom of movement. You can swim quickly to a drowning victim in distress dive through waves or dive deep underwater. The waist pouch can be worn both horizontally and vertically around the waist. Depending on personal preference this allows you to carry the waist pouch in the way that is most comfortable for you. Additionally you can attach the restube to belts with a maximum width of 7 cm or to a harness. The restube comes complete with a carrying strap measuring 120x3.8 cm with a one-handed quick-release opener. The fully inflated restube lifeguard buoy has a length of 80 cm and a diameter of 13 cm. The buoyancy of 75n is more than sufficient to rescue an adult. The inflatable buoy itself is made of extra sturdy material and features retro-reflective bands. The buoy is equipped with a 1.8-meter long floating line with a shoulder strap and the maximum load capacity is 250 kg. After use you can deflate the restube using the valve and prepare it for the next use. Insert a new 16-gram co2 cartridge and fold the buoy back into the waist pouch.
